The problem: Since they operate in a very competitive industry, our client needed to be able to keep up with others and outrank them.
The solution: We picked keywords that are competitive and used them to build backlinks for the client.
During the half year of working with the client, we already managed to increase the DR from 52 to 63, while the Traffic went from 41K to 54K.
This wouldn’t be much success without them consistently publishing new content and resolving technical issues from time to time.

Client Performance Results
Let’s walk you through some of the client performance highlights through their link building journey.
We’ll be taking a look at some of their priority keywords and current positions.
Keyword: “chatgpt powerpoint”
In the screenshot below, you can see that the Keyword Difficulty for “chatgpt powerpoint” is relatively low, which makes it a good opportunity for link building and ranking.
That’s why we made sure to have it on our list.
In this one, you can see the 6-month performance of our client for the keyword above.
So, in half a year, we’ve increased the page position by 3 which is harder when it comes to competing to rank on the very first page of search results.
Keyword: “presentation ideas”
Next, we have the keyword “presentation ideas,” the metrics for which look like this:
Even though this is another great keyword, the difficulty is already Medium, making things a bit harder.
In this case, we have the following results:
There are 2 things to highlight:
- The page position for its target keyword has improved by 15, ranking it on the first page in search results.
- The Traffic of the page for the target keyword has grown from 0 to 181.
In other words, by choosing the right target keywords, we were able to not only improve the above page rankings but also boost some traffic.

Speaking of boosting traffic, the backlinks we built have provided great results here as well.
First, let’s look at the keyword metrics.
This keyword has low Difficulty, so we couldn’t miss such an opportunity.
But who would’ve thought of such results?
As you can see, the position of the page has improved from 5 to 1.
Yes, this means that the client ranks as the very first result in Google search.
Page performance
Besides improving page positions and keyword performance, we should take a look at the overall performance of our client’s priority pages.
In the screenshot below, you can see metrics improvement for the first priority page.
During the 6-month of our collaboration, the page already has 244 new keywords and 66.6K more Traffic from the Organic search. You can also see the number of new referring domains: 7, which is another great achievement for such a short period.

Notice how this priority page has 1.8K new keywords and has gained 11.8K Traffic from 0.

What happened backstage?
Building relevant backlinks becomes more complex when you’re in a competitive industry. This is the case we have, so let us share how we achieved the numbers above.
First, it was thanks to the choice of accurate target keywords which had the potential to help the client perform better and become competitive more easily.
Next, we always make sure to build backlinks from domains with great metrics. In the case of this client, we have DR 67 and Traffic 38K metrics on average (via Ahrefs.)
Lastly, let’s not forget about consistency. By building 90 backlinks during 6 months, we were able to achieve constant growth for this client.
