Before the AI search optimization campaign, GroWrk faced low brand visibility across emerging LLM-driven platforms, such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot, and Gemini.
The goal was to strengthen GroWrk’s presence and ensure potential clients could easily discover GroWrk through AI search platforms.
Strategy
We executed a targeted guest posting campaign in November with an emphasis on:
- Writing and publishing listicles on relevant websites that position GroWrk as a leading tool/service provider in the IT asset management industry, increasing its chances of being recommended by AI platforms,
- Providing a backlink to a homepage with a branded anchor text to boost presence in both Google and AI search results.
- Implementing a workflow where content is reviewed and approved prior to publication, to ensure it better aligns with GroWrk’s needs and growth objectives.
With the listicles in place and GroWrk showing up across key sites, the next step was to see the impact on traffic, DR, and AI recommendations.
Results
Here are the results we achieved thanks to a strategic guest posting campaign in just one month.
Increased AI Search Visibility
GroWrk experienced significant growth across LLM-powered search platforms.
- AI Overview citations increased from 25 to 42, a gain of 17
- ChatGPT citations increased from 41 to 66, a gain of 25
- Perplexity citations increased from 28 to 36, a gain of 8
- Gemini citations doubled from 10 to 20
- Copilot citations increased from 3 to 7
This shows that GroWrk is building trust and authority, making it more likely to be recommended by AI search engines and large language models.
Domain Rating & Organic Traffic Growth
SEO metrics like domain rating and organic traffic have also improved, but this success wasn’t driven by guest posts alone. Alongside listicles, we built SaaS backlinks to strengthen the client’s backlink profile, improve overall authority, and further increase AI citations.
GroWrk’s team also contributed on their side, ensuring the website remained technically healthy and consistently produced content that added value to their audience.

- Domain Rating increased from 57 to 60 in November
