Kommo aimed to strengthen visibility for high-intent search queries in a competitive market. Since their online presence was weak, potential clients often struggled to find the website when searching for solutions offered by the company.

Strategy
We launched a strategic link building campaign in September, focusing on:
- Targeting high-intent, service-related keywords aligned with Kommo’s core offerings
- Building backlinks from authoritative SaaS websites
- Building links consistently to support steady ranking growth
- Over-delivering on quality. The campaign involved focusing on high-authority backlinks in terms of DR and domain traffic, but the backlink profile consistently included links from domains that were well above those thresholds.

Ranking Improvements
Several keywords saw meaningful position gains during the link building campaign, which helped Kommo capture more visibility and reach users actively searching for messaging automation solutions.
So, what drove the movement? We built around 20 backlinks for these five keywords, in total. This strategy allowed us to produce consistent results across a few search terms at the same time.
One priority query moved from outside the tracked range into a top-performing position. Another priority query improved by 10 positions and entered the top 5.
